(with Lysis)
This product can be used to preserve biological samples such as various types of cells or cell secretions to maintain the stability of nucleic acid (DNA and RNA) within the samples for subsequent molecular biology experiments. The preservation solution contains pH buffer, surfactant and nucleic acid stabilizer. Nucleic acid stability is maintained through protein denaturation by surfactant to rapidly inactivate viruses and nucleases.

Product features
- The product contains lysis and protein denaturing reagents that rapidly lyse biological samples and disrupt protein structures for rapid inactivation and protection of nucleic acids.
- The product remains stable at 37°C for at least 7 days, thus can be transported and stored for a short period of time at room temperature, saving sampling costs and providing operational flexibility.
- The preservation solution is compatible with all nucleic acid extraction kits without adverse effect on the subsequent nucleic acid extraction and PCR detection.
Use and storage
- Sample types: Cultured cells, cells shed from mucosal tissues, cells in body fluids, cell debris, exosomes, etc.
- Samples should be completely immersed in the preservation solution to maximize the retention of entire samples.
- The recommended storage time for preserved samples is up to 7 days at room temperature and up to 30 days at 4°C.
- The preservation solution can be stored at room temperature for up to 12 months. See the label for the production date and the expiration date.
