The reagent of a proprietary formulation by VersaBio can be used for stool sampling, storage and transportation at room temperature. It maintains the stability of human DNA in stool samples for up to 7 days at room temperature. The collected samples can be used for subsequent molecular biology assays such as high-throughput sequencing, fluorescence quantitative PCR and DNA microarray.
